摘要

Abstract

The \({}^{18}\text{O}(t,p)^{20}\text{O}\) reaction is used to investigate the neutron periphery of the ground state of the \({}^{20}\text{O}\) nucleus. The experimental differential cross section of the reaction is consistent with the theoretical one, determined with allowance for the mechanisms of dineutron stripping and sequential neutron transfer. The reconstructed wave functions of the dineutron and virtual neutrons relative to the core make it possible to calculate the dimensions of the neutron skin layer in the \({}^{20}\text{O}\) nucleus. The presence of a two-neutron periphery in the ground state of the \({}^{20}\text{O}\) nucleus is confirmed in the form of a sufficiently extended skin layer in both the dineutron and cigar-shaped configurations.
