O 2p hole doping and correlation of structure and transport in PrBaCo2O6−δ

  • Artur Braun

摘要

Soft X-ray absorption spectroscopy at the O \(K\) K -edge and Co \(L\) L -edge was used to study PrBaCo2O6−δ. The O \(K\) K -edge spectra show a hole-doping pre-edge peak preceding the O2p–Co3d doublet, whose relative spectral weight correlates with conductivity, lattice parameters, and Curie temperature. The results establish a spectroscopic link between oxygen hole states and transport in this layered cobaltite.
