Preparation of binder-free sodalite particles by dry-gel conversion method
摘要
It was found that the binder-free zeolite particles, prepared by the amorphous aluminosilicate gel and the auxiliary chemical, had been transformed into spherical sodalite crystals by dry-gel conversion method. In the binder-free sodalite particles, the ink-bottle type pores were formed between the sodalite crystals. The average pore diameter of zeolite particles was 116.22 nm and 165.47 nm, while amount of the auxiliary chemical was 2.5wt% and 4.0wt%, respectively. In this work, the pore network connectivity and the pore size distribution of the binder-free sodalite particles could be adjusted.
Graphical abstractIn this work, the particles, prepared by aluminosilicate gel and auxiliary chemical (Figure A), were been crystallized to sodalite crystals by dry-gel conversion method. Both the surface and interior of the binder-free particles exhibited spherical sodalite crystals (Figure B). The binder-free sodalite particles avoid the negative impacts of binders. The pore network connectivity and the pore size distributions of binder-free sodalite particles could be adjusted by changing amount of the auxiliary chemical.
