摘要

Hydroxyapatite (Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2) is the major mineral component of human bone and teeth. As a result, synthetic hydroxyapatite is widely used as a material for bone tissue repair. In this work the synthesis process and thermal stability of Ag-substituted hydroxyapatite obtained by a mechanochemical method using silver orthophosphate as a source of a substituent ion are investigated. It was found that for this synthesis type, the limit of substitution of calcium cations by silver is x = 1.0. The thermal stability of the material depends on the concentration of silver introduced; the higher the concentration of the substituent, the lower the decomposition temperature. Degradation is associated with the release of the β-form of Ag-substituted Ca3(PO4)2 and metallic silver, which can significantly modify the properties of the obtained product. Recommendations for the application of this material are given.
