YouCodeGirls – Nutzung von Künstlicher Intelligenz zur zielgruppengerechten Unterstützung von Lernprozessen
摘要
The study examines the use of artificial intelligence, in particular a conversational agent and a recommender system, on the YouCodeGirls learning platform. Through the implementation and subsequent evaluation of individual fields of action by means of user shadowing and focus groups, important insights were gained for gender-equitable support of learning processes for girls. These provide a basis for the development of learning platforms and offer suggestions for the design of diversity-sensitive IT artefacts. The aim is to make learning platforms more attractive for underrepresented groups in IT professions and to make learning processes more accessible by overcoming inequalities, without reducing the value for the currently overrepresented group. The results will contribute to solving the skills shortage and diversifying the talent pool of technical workers, thus strengthening Germany’s innovation and competitiveness. The results can be transferred to other areas of gender inequality, such as attracting boys and young men to social professions.
