This review traces the historical progression of our understanding of left ventricular outflow tract obstruction, with a particular focus on the pivotal role of echocardiography in redefining its detection, hemodynamic assessment, and clinical relevance, especially as its prevalence is expected to increase along with the growing aging population.</p>
