The impact of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies which have led to revolutionary developments in every aspect of life, has not only transformed the competitive landscape of the business world but has also manifested itself tangibly in the strategies, structures, and business models of companies striving to maintain their positions. These developments have also spurred the generation of new knowledge in the field of strategic management, where the connection between theory and practice is particularly strong. This study is based on the premise that these developments could significantly alter research trends in the strategic management literature. Building on this premise, the study aims to reveal how and in what ways research on AI integration has influenced both established and emerging topics in strategic management. Additionally, the study aims to determine the extent to which AI has spurred the discovery of new research areas in strategic management. To this end, 400 English-language articles indexed in Scopus between 2021 and 2025 and tested for suitability for bibliometric analysis were included in the study. The findings of the bibliometric analysis show that the number of articles addressing the adaptation of AI technologies to strategic management processes has increased exponentially since 2021. The fact that this increase reached 87.7% between 2023 and 2024, and that publications produced in 2024–2025 accounted for 68.25% of the total, has strengthened predictions that AI can contribute to the generation of new knowledge and the discovery of new research topics in strategic management.

摘要
