<p>This is a chapter review of pregnancy state in patients with narcolepsy which aims to provide a review of literature regarding pregnancy in patients with narcolepsy, physiology of hormonal change during pregnancy on sleep, pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic management, post-partum period, and outcome. Articles, textbook chapters, associated websites, drug information, and research studies regarding pregnancy in narcolepsy patients were reviewed, extracted, and summarized. In summary, management of pregnancy in patients with narcolepsy is complex and individual. Both pharmacological and non-pharmacological strategies are required for management of pregnancy and post-partum period of patients with narcolepsy.</p>
