<p>Pakistan has approximately 48.7 million women of reproductive age, facing significant financial and environmental challenges related to menstrual hygiene management (MHM). While many rely on disposable products such as pads or tampons, the affordability and sustainability of these options remain problematic, especially in rural areas. Menstrual cups, a reusable alternative, have increased knowledge among educated urban women due to their long-term cost-effectiveness and eco-friendly nature. However, several barriers, including cultural taboos and limited awareness, hinder widespread adoption. Our study suggests efforts to promote menstrual cups that address these cultural and infrastructural barriers.</p>
