<p>Women of reproductive age (WRA) face the greatest burden of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in low- and middle-income countries, including Tanzania. Comprehensive HIV/AIDS knowledge is vital for effective prevention. Using the 2022 Tanzania Demographic and Health Survey and Malaria Indicator Survey we found that only 15.9% of WRA possessed comprehensive HIV/AIDS knowledge. Higher knowledge was associated with marital status, education, literacy, employment, wealth index, using internet, sexually transmitted infections awareness. However, increase in age associated with lower odds. These findings highlight the critical need for targeted intervention emphasizing digital platforms and continued education to enhance knowledge among WRA in Tanzania.</p>
