摘要

Ischemic heart disease (IHD) remains the leading cause of disability and mortality around the world, urgently requiring precise, efficient, and safe therapeutic strategies. Natural products have proven effective in treating IHD. However, their clinical efficacy is limited by issues such as low bioavailability and poor targeting. Therefore, nanotechnology has emerged as a powerful solution to enhance the therapeutic value of natural products. This article systematically explores the integrated application of nanotechnology and natural products, focusing on their potential in treating IHD, including coronary atherosclerosis, myocardial infarction, reperfusion injury, and heart failure. Finally, the article discusses the challenges of translating natural product-based nanomedicines into clinical applications. This review aims to provide a comprehensive reference for the development of natural product-based nanomedicines for the treatment of IHD.
