The impact of low-dose hypobaric unilateral spinal anesthesia combined with pericapsular nerve group block on safety and rehabilitation quality in frail older adults undergoing hip fracture surgery: a retrospective case series
摘要
Hip fracture is one of the common types of fractures among the older people. Early and active surgical treatment can significantly alleviate patients’ pain symptoms and reduce mortality. Low-dose hypobaric unilateral spinal anesthesia is considered capable of significantly minimizing hemodynamic fluctuations and ensuring the stability of patients’ vital signs during the perioperative period. As a novel regional nerve block technique, pericapsular nerve group block has garnered widespread attention. However, the actual effects of the combined application of these two methods in older person undergoing hip fracture surgery on surgical safety and postoperative rehabilitation quality still lack sufficient research validation. Based on this, this study summarizes the experience of successfully utilizing low-dose hypobaric unilateral spinal anesthesia combined with pericapsular nerve group block for perioperative pain management in eight cases of hip fracture surgery, aiming to provide valuable references and insights for clinical practice.
