Modified Aluminosilicate Nanoclay (CuO@HNTs-SO3H): Heterogeneous Catalyst for Easy and Quick Synthesis of 1H-Pyrazolo[1,2-b]phthalazine-5,10-diones

Abstract
In this work CuO@HNTs-SO3H nanocomposite were investigated as a very effective, straightforward, affordable and recyclable catalyst for the quick synthesis of 1H-pyrazolo[1,2-b]phthalazine-5,10-dione derivatives by using substituted aromatic aldehyde, malononitrile and phthalhydrazide under ethanol reflux condition. This methodology has main benefits such as mild reaction conditions, low catalyst cost, eco-friendliness and high product yields (93–96%). Mass spectral, and NMR methods were used to analyze the structures of the targeted compounds.
