Plasticity and Electrical Resistance of Rapidly Quenched Alloy Co69Fe4Cr4Si12B11 at Low Temperatures

Abstract
The structure and properties of rapidly quenched Co69Fe4Cr4Si12B11 alloy are studied in the temperature range from –196 to +50°C. It is shown that the plasticity of the alloy does not decrease with long-term exposure and cryocycling. It is established that in the range of operating temperatures from –90 to +50°C, the relative electrical resistance of the microwire r ~ T, the specific electrical resistance ρ = 1.13–1.14 Ωm mm2/m, the temperature coefficient of resistance α = –6.7 × 10–5 1/K.
