摘要

Abstract

The results of the study of the effect of electrolytic plasma polishing (EPP) on the structure and chemical composition of surface layers, as well as the mechanical properties of wire samples of alloys 99.572% Ti (VT1-00), Ti–6 Al–4 V(VT6), Nb 1, Ti—26 at % Nb and Ti—23 at % Nb—5 at % Zr with a diameter of 1.6–0.6 mm are presented. The removal of a largely defective surface layer in EPP leads to a decrease in roughness and strength indicators and an increase in plasticity. It is shown that EPP can be considered as a promising method of surface finishing of titanium alloys, especially new alloys of biomedical purpose Ti—26 at % Nb and Ti—23 at % Nb—5 at % Zr.
