Kinetics of Mass Transfer during the Formation of Diffusion Cobalt Coatings from Liquid Metal Solutions
摘要
Abstract
The possibility of forming diffusion cobalt and cobalt-tungsten coatings on ARMCO Pure Iron from liquid metal solutions based on lead is shown. In the temperature range of 900–1050°C, cobalt coatings on iron with a cobalt content on the surface of 15–23 wt % were obtained. Introduction of finely dispersed tungsten powder into the liquid metal solution affects the mass transfer of cobalt and makes it possible to obtain cobalt-tungsten diffusion coatings on ARMCO Pure Iron with a surface content of up to 11 wt % cobalt and up to 24 wt % tungsten.
