Abstract <p>The review addresses modern trends in the development and study of the properties of adhesive and sealing compositions based on nitrile–butadiene rubber (NBR). It has been shown that the major strategy for improving the properties of NBR-based adhesives concerns the introduction of adhesive-active additives and fillers into the elastomer. Among the sealing compositions, NBR-based materials with high- and low-molecular-weight compounds, as well as fibrous reinforcing fillers, are of interest.</p>
