Improvement of the Gluing Technology of Bent-Glued Pieces
摘要
The research is aimed at developing a technology for the production of bent-glued blanks with the increased water resistance. The possibility of using adhesive compositions based on urea–melamine–formaldehyde resin for gluing veneer in obtaining bent-glued blanks has been analyzed. Complex active filler, dolomite, and salts of lignosulfonic acids were used as modifiers. The results of assessing the strength of the adhesive joint with different filler contents and adhesive composition consumption have been presented. The conducted studies show the prospects of using new high-performance adhesive compositions for gluing veneer in order to obtain bent-glued blanks of a shallow profile. The considered adhesive systems allow reducing the gluing time, while simultaneously reducing the consumption of the used materials. The highest strength with reduced gluing time is achieved by using a complex active filler.
