Increasing the Adhesive Strength of Rubber in Pressure Hoses for Transporting Petroleum Products

Abstract
Synthesis of 4,4'-diaminodiphenylisocyanate was carried out and its use as an additive for increasing the adhesive strength of rubbers based on butadiene–nitrile rubber (BNKS-28 AMN) to the metal cord of pressure hoses for pumping petroleum products was assessed. It was shown that, with an additive content of 0.8 pts wt, adhesion to the metal cord increased by 20% compared to the control sample and rubbers were more resistant to accelerated aging.
