Abstract <p>Integrated studies of the state of bottom invertebrates and habitats of aquatic organisms have been conducted in the salmon-spawning Soyana River within the Soyana Biological Reserve in different hydrological seasons. It is revealed that the content of oxygen dissolved in water was normal and the concentrations of phosphorus, nitrogen, and silicon salts did not exceed the maximum permissible values for fishery water bodies in the summer and winter periods in 2020 and 2021. The spatial distribution of zoobenthos was mosaic during the study. The average values of the abundance and biomass of macrozoobenthos were 881 ± 271 ind./m<sup>2</sup> and 4.19 ± 1.36 g/m<sup>2</sup> in July 2020 and 369 ± 227 ind./m<sup>2</sup> and 10.74 ± 10.11 g/m<sup>2</sup> in March 2021, respectively. According to the Woodiwiss index and oligochaete index, the waters of the Soyana River are characterized as “conditionally clean.”</p>
