On the Problems of Diffraction of Electromagnetic Waves by Prefractal Barriers in Waveguides with Metal Walls

Abstract
Problems of electromagnetic wave diffraction by a prefractal barriers in a planar waveguide and in a rectangular waveguide are reduced to infinite systems of linear algebraic equations with respect to the expansion coefficients of the sought field in eigenwaves. Dependencies of the energy flows of reflected waves and waves that have passed through the barrier on the oscillation frequency of the wave from a remote source are obtained. A computational experiment has shown that these dependencies in the case of prefractal barriers of relatively low order are practically the same as in the case of a solid partition.
