摘要

Abstract

This paper introduces a new distribution from the Topp–Leone generated family, the Topp–Leone Garima distribution. It is used to analyze lifetime data. Some statistical properties of the proposed distribution are investigated, including \(r\) th moments, moments generating, characteristic function, and order statistics. The model parameters are estimated using the maximum likelihood method. The performance for the parameter estimation of the Topp–Leone Garima is provided by the Monte Carlo simulation, which is compared using the bias and the mean squared error. Finally, the proposed distributions are applied to lifetime datasets.
