On Local Postselective Transformations of Bipartite Entangled States

Abstract
Quantum entanglement is the key phenomena of quantum mechanics, with huge impact on quantum technologies such as quantum cryptography. Here we study local postselective transformations applied to a pre-shared entangled state by the remote participants. We discuss the effect of their classical communication and the structure of the applied transformations. We also discuss the role of state-dependent quantum uncertainty and how it is changed under postselective transformations, with application in quantum cryptography.
