Abstract

Objective: Currently, regenerative medicine is emerging as an essential aspect within the field of medical science. Methods: Multiple approaches are now being developed for the fabrication of synthetic tissues through the process of stem cell differentiation. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have favorable implications for this therapeutic intervention. Results and Discussion: In vitro, MSCs have the capacity to engage in differentiation into osteoblasts, chondrocytes, nerve cells, and cartilage. Scaffolds, growth factors, and genetic alterations are considered to be crucial components in this context. Numerous studies have demonstrated the diverse functions of microRNAs in modulating the expression of critical genes through the stem cell differentiation process. Conclusions: The present study attempts to investigate the significance of miR-27 as a crucial factor in regulating the cellular process involved in the development of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs).
