Variability of the Natural Environment of the Eastern Arctic Based on Drilling Data from Postglacial Sediments in the Northeastern Laptev Sea
摘要
Abstract
The article presents a climatostratigraphic interpretation of palynological and micropaleontological analysis results for core samples from two wells drilled in the northeastern Laptev Sea above 75° N. New information has been obtained on the synchronicity of climate changes in marine and terrestrial systems, supported by aaccelerator mass spectrometry radiocarbon (AMS14C) age measurements. It is proved that the revealed intense warming of the global climate occurred during the transgression of the sea in the Early Holocene. A comprehensive analysis confirms that the climatic fluctuations in the Holocene were of global and regional rank and occurred synchronously in the marine and terrestrial natural systems of Eastern Siberia.
