Use of Tagged-Neutron Generators for Applied Problems of Nuclear Physics
摘要
Abstract
The development of ING-27, the resource-intensive and high-intensity tagged neutron generator developed at the All-Russian Research Institute of Automatics (VNIIA), which features unique temporal and spatial resolutions for measuring neutron emission, has led to a significant expansion of the scope of tagged neutron applications. Discussed are the options for using tagged-neutrons device to solve problems in applied nuclear physics, in particular, to study the Doppler effect and the anisotropy of the gamma ray yield in inelastic neutron scattering and to measure neutron response from a gamma detector.
