Abstract <p>Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in cooperation with AO NIIEFA build medical superconducting cyclotron MSC-230. Parameters of the magnetic field and the resonance system and the proton beam dynamics were simulated. The development of the cyclotron structure is in progress. The manufacture of the cyclotron units was started. A description of the MSC-230, its parameters and status of the project are presented.</p>
