On the Role of the Timing of the Electron Beam Injection into the Accelerating Structure of the LUE-200 Accelerator when Using the RF Power Compression System
摘要
Abstract
The results measuring the energy characteristics of the electron beam upon a change in the time that the beam is injected into the accelerating structure of the LUE-200 accelerator (the driver of the IREN facility, a pulsed photoneutron source at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna)), are presented. When using the SLED RF power compression system, the moment the beam is injected into the accelerating structure has been shown to be important in the formation and optimization of acceleration modes.
