The Mineral Composition and Formation Conditions of Quartz–Beryl Mineralization of the Pervomaiskoe Molybdenum Deposit, Dzhida Ore Field, Southwestern Transbaikalia

The paper is dedicated to the determination of mineral composition, physicochemical parameters, and matter sources of quartz–beryl mineralization, which formed during an individual mineral formation stage at the Pervomaiskoe deposit. Quartz and beryl are major minerals; phenakite is identified at the Pervomaiskoe deposit for the first time. The ore minerals include molybdenite, pyrite, and rare grains of cassiterite, chalcopyrite, rutile, aikinite, wulfenite, columbite, monazite, and xenotime. The results of fluid inclusion studies showed that the homogenization temperatures of fluid inclusions in beryl vary from 265 to 191°C. The ore-forming fluids are characterized by a low salinity of 5.9–8.6 wt % NaCl-equiv. The homogenization temperatures of fluid inclusions in quartz correspond to a range of 281–250°С. The isotopic data show the involvement of meteoric waters to the ore-forming process.
