New Direction in Modification of Chromophores from the Hydroxytricyanopyrrole Series
摘要
Abstract
A new version of reversible transformation of hydroxytricyanopyrrole (HTCP) chromophores is described. The process involves three-component reaction of 4-methyl-substituted HTCP, 2-hydroxy-5-nitrobenzaldehyde, and a base, which leads to the formation of ionic derivatives containing a phenolate fragment.
