Abstract <p>This work involved the synthesis of a new series of substituted amides containing a sulfonamide group. Seven new compounds <b>3a</b>–<b>3g</b> were prepared for the first time. These compounds were characterized using spectroscopic techniques, including FT-IR, <sup>1</sup>H, and <sup>13</sup>C NMR. In addition, their melting points were determined using a capillary melting point apparatus, and their color was observed visually. The activity of the synthesized compound showing the highest antioxidant capacity at different concentrations (compound <b>3b</b>) was investigated for anticancer effects in vitro, with concentrations ranging from 25 to 400 μg/mL, using A549 and Caco-2 cells. Compound <b>3b</b> showed the highest cell viability against A549 and Caco-2 cancer cell lines at the lowest tested concentration (25 μg/mL).</p>
