Abstract <p>Fe<sub>3</sub>O<sub>4</sub>@Sal@Cu magnetic nanoparticles were synthesized and used as a novel multifunctional nanocatalyst for the synthesis of 2,3-dihydro-1<i>H</i>-perimidines by the condensation of naphthalene-1,8-diamine with various aromatic aldehydes under ultrasonication. This efficient methodology has advantages such as good to excellent yields, high purity of the products, reusability of the nanocatalyst, simple reaction conditions, environmental friendliness, and economical chemical procedure.</p>

Abstract

Fe3O4@Sal@Cu magnetic nanoparticles were synthesized and used as a novel multifunctional nanocatalyst for the synthesis of 2,3-dihydro-1H-perimidines by the condensation of naphthalene-1,8-diamine with various aromatic aldehydes under ultrasonication.
