An Efficient and Green One-Pot Multicomponent Synthesis of Pyranopyrazoles and Their Biological Evaluation
摘要
An environmentally friendly synthesis of pyranopyrazole derivatives 5a–5c containing an indole, furan, or thiophene nucleus using a reusable green catalyst, green solvent, and multicomponent domino technique is reported. This method involves a simple workup and provides high yields and purity of the products. The newly synthesized compounds were evaluated for their antioxidant, antibacterial, and antitubercular activities. Particularly, thiophene derivative 5c showed the highest antioxidant activity, while compound 5a exhibited the best antimicrobial and antitubercular properties. The findings suggest that these compounds can be used as a basis for further research in order to discover novel antioxidant, antibacterial, and antitubercular drugs.
