Abstract <p>A convenient method was proposed for the synthesis of non-symmetrically functionalized 5-aryl-2,2′:6′,2′′-terpyridines using the “1,2,4-triazine” approach and the Stille cross-coupling reaction. The photophysical properties of the new compounds were studied, and their luminescence quantum yields reached 95%.</p>
