Oxidative Cycloaddition via C–H/X–H Activation in the Synthesis of Heterocycles (A Review)

Abstract
This review examines the main approaches to the construction of five-, six-, and seven-membered N-, O-, and S-containing heterocycles via metal-catalyzed oxidative cycloaddition of alkynes to various N-, O-, and S-containing substrates. These reactions proceed effectively in the presence of Pd, Rh, Ru, Cu, Ni, Al, Ag, Au, Zn, Sc, Os and Co catalysts.
