Synthesis and Dual-State Emission of Thiomorpholine Derivatives of Pyridinedicarbonitrile
摘要
Abstract
A synthetic method for 2-thiomorpholinopyridine-3,4-dicarbonitrile derivatives was developed based on 2-chloropyridine-3,4-dicarbonitriles and thiomorpholine. The obtained compounds exhibit a rare type of dual-state emission (DSE), featuring fluorescence both in solution and in the solid state. The fluorescence maxima in benzene solution depend on the nature of the substituents and range from 470 to 508 nm, while in the solid state, they vary from 473 to 534 nm.
