Remote Sensing of Earth, Planets, and Their Satellites Using Tidal Signals
摘要
Abstract
This article provides an overview of remote sensing methods for celestial bodies based on analysis and interpretation of tidal signals. The first part of the article discusses the methodology and results of sensing using tides in a solid body of space object, which generate periodic oscillations of the surface and gravitational field level. The second part discusses the methodology and results of sensing using ocean tides, which induce periodic electromagnetic field variations.
