Effects of Warming on the Response of Pinus densata Radial Growth to Climatic Factors in Different Regions of the Sygera Mountains
摘要
The radial growth dynamics of Pinus densata, the dominant species in the Sygera Mountains of Xizang, and its response to climate change are currently unknown. In this study, we used Pearson correlation analysis and sliding scale analysis to investigate the relationship between the radial growth of P. densata and climatic factors, the response of P. densata radial growth to climatic factors before and after the warming of the climate, and its stability over time. The results showed that: 1) P. densata growth in Linzhi Township was jointly influenced by water and temperature conditions, while trees in the Dongjiu Nature Reserve had a weaker response to climate change. 2) The correlation of P. densata radial growth with the maximum temperature at the end of the growing season was weakened since 1999 in Linzhi Township; the fluctuation of P. densata growth under the influence of the temperature was more obvious after warming in Dongjiu Nature Reserve, and the promoting effect of the minimum temperature on the growth of P. densata was weakened, and both regions did not show the “response divergence”. 3) The results of the sliding analysis showed that: the response of P. densata growth to temperature in Linzhi Township was gradually enhanced over time, while the sensitivity of the response to precipitation was weakened; the negative correlation with mean temperature was enhanced in the area of Dongjiu Nature Reserve, and the negative correlation with precipitation was gradually weakened. In the context of future warming, the growth of P. densata in Linzhi Township will continue to be promoted, while the growth of P. densata in Dongjiu Nature Reserve will be suppressed, and a clear ‘response divergence’ will be demonstrated.
