Testing Systematic Errors of Distances and Lengths in Geometric Illusions

This paper studies systematic errors in visual perception caused by the influence of geometric illusions. The aim of this study is to identify patterns of distortions in visual perception and to develop new methodological and automated tools for analyzing this phenomenon. The study examines the vertical-horizontal illusion and the illusion of distance between the edges of objects, which allows a deeper understanding of the mechanisms and systematic errors that occur in the process of visual information processing. As part of the study, new modules are integrated into the previously developed testing system for more accurate measurement of the perception and analysis of visual illusions. The results obtained are significant for further research in the field of psychophysics and cognitive psychology, as well as for practical applications in the field of design and development of visual interfaces.
