Virtual Multi-Tier Storage System
摘要
This paper addresses the growing demand for scalable, adaptive, and efficient data storage solutions in highly distributed environments. The proposed approach leverages modern computing paradigms, with a particular focus on cloud computing and its extensions into multi-tier architectures such as fog and edge computing. Furthermore, the work examines strategies for the effective utilization and management of hierarchical, layered storage systems. The study also outlines the technical requirements for building such a system, identifying key challenges that hinder straightforward implementation. In response, we discuss necessary adaptations of existing technologies and the automation processes required to ensure system manageability and operational efficiency at scale.
