Abstract <p>The SPD (Spin Physics Detector) is a spin physics experiment to be held in the second interaction point of the NICA collider at JINR. Sampo is a Gaudi-based software framework for the SPD experiment, which will be used for the full chain of HEP experiment data processing: from generation and simulation and up to reconstruction and physics analysis. This document briefly summarizes the general design of Sampo and describes in detail the integration of the Geant4 toolkit.</p>
