Expected Cascade Spectrum from Atmospheric Muons in the Baikal-GVD Neutrino Telescope

Abstract
This paper presents the results of computer simulations and theoretical calculations of cascade showers generated by atmospheric muons in the Baikal-GVD neutrino telescope. Cascade spectra are required to estimate the background in the search for ultra-high-energy neutrinos and can be used to measure the atmospheric muon spectrum in the ultra-high-energy region.
