Abstract <p>The processing procedure of data of MHD diagnostics for tokamaks with circular and vertically elongated plasma cross sections is presented. The utilized processing of the signals of MHD diagnostics based on the cross-S-transform reduces the fraction of incoherent components in the signals and also provides the spatial spectrum of coherent components and their time–frequency distribution.</p>
