Abstract

The cases of \({p}+{A}\) and \({d}+{A}\) collisions appears to be the most illustrative in terms of number of nucleons–participants defined with the account of energy–momentum conservation in multiple particle production vs. the Standard Glauber approach. We argue that the obtained results demonstrate that the widely used application of the Standard Glauber model—in the analysis of experimental data of multiple particle production in high energy hadron collisions, should be reconsidered.
