Detection of Atmospheric Muons at LVD
摘要
Abstract
The results obtained by studying the characteristics of reconstructed archive muon events from the LVD experiment deployed at the Gran Sasso Laboratory are presented. Atmospheric muons were reconstructed with the aid of the detector tracking system that operated at two towers from 1999 to 2002. The distributions of the specific energy loss in the detector are given as a function of the rock thickness and zenith angle of reconstructed muons.
