Development of an Integrating Current Transformer for Picosecond Electron Bunches
摘要
Abstract
An integrating current transformer enables nondestructive measurements of the charge of short electron bunches. This article describes the development of an integrating current transformer and examines the effect of electrical capacitance and ferrite core material on the sensor response. The linearity of the amplitude and independence of the response shape from the bunch charge are experimentally confirmed.
