Assessment of the Feasibility of Utilizing Geant4 for Simulating a DT Neutron Source

Abstract
This work simulates the bombardment of titanium-tritium target with 160 keV deuterons using the Monte Carlo method in the Geant4 and analytically using SRIANG program with the SRIM package. The results of calculating the energy spectra of neutrons emitted from the target at different angles are presented. The results of calculations are compared. The advantages and disadvantages of different approaches to simulating a DT neutron source are analyzed.
