Abstract <p>The article describes the absorption properties of acoustic materials. The emphasis is on rubberlike materials with inclusions of cavities that provide resonance dissipation mechanisms. Testing of the developed methodology and a study of the accuracy of the method by comparison with previously published results are presented. Changes in the acoustic properties of a heterogeneous material under external load conditions in a linear formulation are analyzed.</p>
