摘要

Abstract

This paper presents a review of the authors’ experimental and theoretical work on the production and study of chiral metamaterials based on nanostructured films of various metals. Experimental studies have shown that thin nanostructured metal films (cobalt, nickel, and copper) produced by glancing angle deposition are arrays of nanospirals twisted in the same direction. These films are an example of chiral metamaterials and are characterized by high optical activity.
