Dynamic Annealing of Graphite under Reactor Irradiation Emulation by High-Fluence Carbon Ion Implantation
摘要
Abstract—
The effect of high-fluence irradiation on the morphology and structure of UPV-1T highly-oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) using 30-keV carbon ions with a fluence of 1 × 1018 ion/cm2 at target temperatures ranging from 50 to 600°C is experimentally studied. The observed temperature shift during dynamic annealing under continuous ion irradiation of HOPG demonstrates the importance of taking this shift into account in methods for simulating the neutron irradiation of reactor-grade graphites, particularly at elevated temperatures.
